Anthropology collections
At the Museum of Anthropology, humans take centre stage: from our origins in a group of apes that adapted to walk upright, to the first examples of tool production using stone and then metal, and the long journey that took us from Africa to every corner of the Earth.
The museum houses valuable skeletal specimens from prehistoric humans and a large array of fascinating archaeological finds and ethnographic artefacts that speak of the expressive potential of humanity’s many cultures.
The collections will soon be open to visitors in the exhibition itinerary of the Museo della Natura e dell'Uomo
